Pahayag niya sa eksklusibong panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “I'm the shortest-reigning queen.
“Usually you get a year, but I only got to have it for ten months because I got crowned December, and it's only October.
“But I really don't mind because I was one of the most traveled in the 16-year history of Miss Earth, and I was able to push a lot of projects, partner with government and non-government projects and organizations.
“It was short but was jampacked and it was meaningful.”
MISS EARTH 2016.
Pahayag nito, “I feel for her because being the representative of one of the powerhouses of beauty queens and having that triple pressure, I guess.
“I felt it before when I had to battle my way to get that back-to-back win.
“There's a few people, I mean, who believed that I could make it, but alam mo yung hindi 100 percent, you feel the doubt in them."
Dagdag pa ni Angelia, “I'm pretty sure that Imelda is feeling the same way. I'm sure that she feels that nobody believes her that she can nail it.
“But Miss Earth is very different than any other beauty pageants.
“It's more than just the face, more than [the brains], but also the heart, you know, the passion to take care of the environment.
“As long as she has the heart and the judges will see it, she can make it, because Miss Earth is very fair.
“If it wasn't, I don't think I'll win.
“To go to another country for the second time in 15 years just to crown a Filipina and it's a Filipino brand, you raise a lot of questions.
“But here I am, turning over my crown.
“It's been a wild journey but it's all worth it.”
Sabi ng beauty queen, “Enjoy the ride. It was hard and I know it still is for her, but at the end of the day, as long as she knows she gave it her best, she'll be fine.
“If the crown is for her, it's for her, no matter what happens.”
AFTER MISS EARTH.
Saad ng model/beauty queen, “It's like a blank page for me.
“Two chapters of my life are gonna end on the very same day.
“I'm like, 'What am I gonna do with my life?'
“I know there will always be something, but I really wanted to have something where I could express myself and connect with my fans who are really with me all throughout.”
Dagdag pa niya, “This is really gonna be an extension of me.
“You will see more of me on the website. It's Angelia but digital.”
“But I've always pitched this idea to my manager, Farah [Ramos].
“I always tell her that, but we really never had time to talk and sit down about it until I met a schoolmate who happens to be in the techie side.
“He kinda opened up my eyes that it's actually possible and easy.
“I partnered with him for a while but eventually we weren't able to put up the perfect theme to really push the website forward.”
“It will also has an environmental segment on it because I'll always be Miss Earth and I don't want it to just stop there. I want it to carry on.”
Aniya, “I'd really love to be a host. Yun talaga. I've always loved hosting and I find joy in it.”
