Kris Aquino tells IG followers why she can't go back to former home network of 20 years.

Kris Aquino has shut down netizens' speculations about her possible return to ABS-CBN.

In her Instagram post this Thursday, November 15, Kris claimed that the “truth” is her former home network of 20 years “no longer wants me.”

Kris gave this response after her avid fans posted hundreds of comments, asking the Queen of All Media to come back to ABS-CBN.

The netizens’ comments can be seen on the thread of Kris’s Instagram photo with Kris TV headwriter Darla Sauler.

A netizen, with the handle name @gjhimsty, wrote: “Aww we miss you both @krisaquino @darlasauler [crying emoji] Pls come back to ABS miss kuna yung papakain mo lahat kay Darla yung mga foods kapag nagfefeature kayo ng mga restaurants [smiling emoji].”

Addressing the comments of her fans, Kris replied: “@xiamaranan @tonirapera @gjhimsty @dauntlessgurl @guadagenson – heartwarming sentiments BUT ABS-CBN NO LONGER WANTS ME. #truth”

It can be recalled that Kris’s exclusive contract with ABS-CBN expired last March 23, 2016.

She took a break from showbiz and did not appear on television since the May 2016 elections.

On September 12, Kris announced via Instagram that she is leaving ABS-CBN and that she has signed up with APT Entertainment.

In response to Kris's post, ABS-CBN released an official statement, saying that the Queen of All Media "will always be a Kapamilya."

Then Kris did her first major public appearance in a presscon for an endorsement last October 11.

It was during that media event when Kris said that she has "no existing TV contract" and is open to doing a project with either GMA-7, ABS-CBN, or any TV station for that matter.

At the same presscon, Kris also admitted that it was her “fault” that she lost a “fair, easy, two-page contract” with ABS-CBN — which, she said, she refused to sign last February.
