Robin Padilla maintained that he is in favor of the Supreme Court’s decision, allowing the late dictator and President Ferdinand Marcos to be interred at Libingan ng mga Bayani (LNMB).
The 46-year-old actor stressed that his position doesn’t have anything to do with political differences.
"I love Marcos. I love Ninoy," said Robin, referring to former President Marcos and the late Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) was able to interview Robin at Mario's Restaurant in Quezon City last Wednesday, November 16.
Robin added that the fact that former President Marcos was also a soldier made him eligible to be buried at LNMB.
Robin reiterated that political differences should not be a point of contention in the transfer of the former president’s remains at LnmB.
“Bayani sila. Sila yung mga bayani noong panahong iyon…"
This Friday noon, November 19, former President Marcos is scheduled to be interred at LnmB.
