Philippine bet Catriona Gray secures a spot in the top 20 of Miss World 2016 after winning in the Multimedia fast track challenge.
Winners of the various fast track challenges automatically become part of the top 20. The pageant has 117 candidates.
Aside from the Multimedia challenge, Catriona also did well in the Talent competition, where she placed second.
Mongolia's Bayartsetseg Altangerel won after receiving the most number of votes in the online poll.
China's Jing Kong scored the highest in the Top Model challenge, while Cook Island's Natalia Short was the lead in the Sports challenge.
Meanwhile, in the Beauty With A Purpose (BWAP) challenge, the 22-year-old Bicolana beauty was also a finalist for her Paraiso Bright Beginnings projects which aim to build schools for the underprivileged children living near the country's biggest landfills.
For this project, she teamed up with Young Focus, a non-government organization founded by Paul and Ann van Wijgerden in Netherlands in 1992.
Other BWAP finalists included India's Priyadarshini Chatterjee, Indonesia's Natasha Mannuela, Nepal's Asmi Shrestha, and Kenya's Evelyn Thungu.
Spain's Mireia Lalaguna will crown her successor at the pageant's grand coronation night happening on Sunday, December 18 (December 19, Philippine time), in MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States.
The winner of the Beauty With A Purpose challenge will also be announced that evening.
On Facebook, the Pinay beauty queen thanked her fans for their all-out support to her Miss World journey.
She wrote, "TOP 5 in BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE, WINNER in MULTIMEDIA CHALLENGE, and I was informed that we finished 2nd in the TALENT COMPETITION.
"Lord Almighty, thank you for this blessing. To my family, loved ones and mentors. Thanks for inspiring me to do better...every single day.

Miss World 2013 Megan Young will be hosting the pageant's grand coronation night.
GMA Network will air the pageant live via satellite on Monday, December 19, at 8 a.m.
