Sandro Marcos has caught the attention of anti-Marcoses once again with a single tweet.
The son of former Senator Bongbong Marcos recently watched the new Star Wars movie, Rogue One, and posted a comment about it on Twitter: “Rogue One is incredible.”

While other Star Wars fans may agree with Sandro's post, some netizens interpreted his tweet differently.
These Twitter users saw a parallelism between the story of Rogue One and the regime of Sandro's late grandfather, former President Ferdinand Marcos.
Rogue One is about rebels from a distant planet trying to overthrow an evil empire.
Marcos ruled the Philippines for 20 years. It was during his term that martial law was declared.
He was eventually overthrown by the historic People Power Revolution in 1986.
