It's official!
Cesar Montano was sworn in as chief operating officer of the Tourism Promotions Board of the Department of Tourism (DOT) earlier today, December 20.
DOT Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo administered Cesar's oath as the head of the marketing arm of the agency.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Cesar was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte for the said position.
As the head of the TBP, Cesar is expected to formulate and implement an integrated domestic and international promotions and marketing program for DOT.
This is the first time the actor will serve as a public official, after three failed attempts to join politics.
