Naglabas na ng public apology si Timothy Tan para sa kanyang estranged wife na si Sunshine Dizon.
Ito ay kaugnay ng naging relasyon niya sa ibang babae na naging dahilan ng pagkawasak ng kanilang pagsasama ni Sunshine bilang mag-asawa.
Ngayong Biyernes, December 23, ay nakatanggap ng mensahe ang PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) mula sa legal counsel ni Timothy Tan na si Atty. Peter Sanchez.
Unang mensahe ni Atty. Sanchez sa Viber: “In the spirit of Christmas, Sunshine and Timothy have decided to settle their differences.”
Kasunod nito ay in-attach niya ang statement na pinirmahan ni Timothy, kung saan humingi ito ng patawad kaugnay ng problema nilang mag-asawa.
Narito ang kabuuan ng statement ni Timothy:
“With profound remorse, I sincerely apologize for the pain and embarrassment I have caused my wife Sunshine and our two children.
“I deeply regret having been the cause of their suffering.
“I assure Sunshine that my family is very important to me.
“I will do whatever it takes to avoid similar incident in the future.”
Kaagad na tinawagan ng PEP si Timothy, pero tumanggi itong sumagot sa mga katanungan namin.
Mas mabuting si Atty. Sanchez na lang daw ang tanungin namin.
Pero hindi na rin sumasagot si Atty. Sanchez sa kanyang Viber.
NO RECONCILIATION. Kasunod nito ay tinawagan ng PEP ang manager ni Sunshine na si Perry Lansigan.
Ilang sandali, nagpadala na rin ang PPL Management ni Perry ng statement mula kay Sunshine.
Sabi ng Kapuso actress, “I appreciate Tim’s public apology, and I accept it in the spirit of Christmas and for the sake of our two children.
“I want to clarify that we have not reconciled.
“Everything we do at this point is simply for the best interests and welfare of our children.
“I will issue a lengthier statement after the holidays.
“For now, I am just relieved that my children and I can enjoy the holidays in peace.”
