Kris Aquino has found a new friend in Michela Cazzola, the current partner of her ex-husband James Yap.
In an Instagram post earlier today, December 23, the Queen of All Media related how she became close to Michela.
Kris shared to her Instagram followers this post she found on Pinterest: “Being friends with ex shows you two are mature enough to get over the fact that you weren't meant together.”
On the caption, Kris said that it did happen to her and James after their failed marriage.
And a big part of this, she said, was because of Michela.
The TV host-actress said, “@jamesyap18 & I are cordial now because of the genuine kindness & effort being given by @michelacazzola.
“She text me about New Year's plans for Kuya [Josh] & Bimb to be w/ them—saludo ako sa pag reach out nya especially in including Kuya Josh.
“I genuinely like her & realize that James & I were together because Bimb was supposed to come into this world.”
Bimby is the son of Kris and James, while Josh is her son with former lover Phillip Salvador.
James and Michela, on the other hand, have a four-month-old baby named Michael James.
Kris also had this to say about James and Michela, “I believe the 2 of them have built lasting love together.
“Swerte kami because she's warm & caring towards my 2 boys & that has made it comfortable for everybody.”
She added, “Believe me, it's possible to really move on enough to reach the point when you're happy your ex husband is in a good place w/ a good woman whom you can consider a friend. #ThisIsReal”
Kris also followed Michela on Instagram.
Kris first met Michela when she and Bimby went to her house with James to meet Baby Michael James for the first time.
Then, Michela invited Kris's two sons to join them on her birthday celebration.
