Si Alex ay ex-girlfriend ni Matteo at introducing sa pelikulang pinagbibidahan ng aktor.
Sa presscon ng Across The Crescent Moon ngayong tanghali, January 16, si Matteo ang boluntaryong nagsabing ex-girlfriend niya si Alex at hindi basta childhood friend.

“Pero ang masasabi ko, itong si Alex, childhood friend ko ito... Hindi lang friend, ex-girlfriend ko ‘to.
“You know, what’s nice, we kept that close relationship together.
“We remain friends until today.
“Siyempre, I’m proud we’ve got to work together.
“Who would have known the three barkadas will work after ten years?”
Maliban kina Matteo at Alex, kasama rin sa pelikula ang isa pa nilang kaibigan na si Ivan Carapiet.
MORE THAN PUPPY LOVE. Pinatotohanan ni Alex ang sinabi ni Matteo tungkol sa nakaraan nila, pero puppy love lamang daw ang naging relasyon nila.
Sabi ni Alex, “It’s true, yes, Matteo and I dated before, ten years ago.
“We were still in high school. Puppy love, you know, but we remain friends.”
Pero singit ni Matteo, “Hindi naman, hindi naman puppy love.”
Pagsang-ayon na rin ni Alex, “Okay… more than puppy love.
“It’s actually great working with him.
“I knew him as a car race driver.
“I didn’t know he wanted to be an actor. He wanted to sing.”

“I got this chance to work with my friend, and I’m so proud of him and his work ethic.
