Vin Abrenica is happy about the pregnancy of Kylie Padilla, the girlfriend of his brother Aljur Abrenica.
In an interview at the premiere night of Moonlight Over Baler, the 25-year-old actor was asked for his first reaction at finding out that Kylie was pregnant with his brother’s baby.
He replied, “My reaction, I was happy. I was happy. I always think that a baby is a blessing and I’m so excited for the both of them.
“Ako, para sa’kin, excited akong maging tito, honestly. Super.”
While many fans were also happy about the couple’s announcement of Kylie’s pregnancy, there were others who hated Aljur.
They said he was ruining her career, and it didn't help that he made statements against Kylie’s management team and the staff of her current show Encantadia.
With Valentine’s Day fast-approaching, Vin sends out a message to his brother’s bashers.
“Let’s just be happy for them,” he said.
About the bashing, he said, “Let’s stop it, kasi it’s so unfair for the both of them, especially for the baby.
“Kasi, if si kuya, mai-stress, of course mai-stress din si Kylie.
“Then, mai-stress din ‘yung baby.
“Sana, huwag naman sana may mangyaring masama.”
“Sana ibigay na lang nila na masaya sila, and let’s be happy.
“It’s Valentine’s! It’s the month of love, di’ba?”
