Sebastian “Baste” Duterte has appealed to his father, President Rodrigo Duterte, to stop chastising him in public.
Yesterday, February 7, Baste wrote in Bisaya on his Facebook: “Pa, tama na please.
“Si Chocolate naman ang pagalitan mo. Mas grabe iyon. Haha Lels”
Baste was referring to comedian Chokoleit, whose recent video showing him making out with a guy has gone viral.
Baste's post was in reaction to President Duterte’s latest complaint that he could not reach his own son on the phone.
The President wove this in his speech last Monday, February 6, at an event of the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
President Duterte said, “P***** ina Baste, nasaan ka? Hindi ko naman talaga alam kung nasaan, e.
“I took advantage of the national coverage.
"Tingnan mo, tanungin ko sa mga security, 'Tawagan mo si Baste.'
"'Sir, hindi sumasagot.'
“Sabagay nandoon kay ano, kay love niya, si Ellen.”
It's the second time President Duterte has alluded to Baste’s romantic liaison with sexy actress Ellen Adarna.
Both Baste and Ellen never confirmed they were an item, but they confirmed they broke up in December 2016.
Ellen, for her part, responded to Baste’s Facebook post, also in Bisaya (translated): “Asan ka na ba? Wala ka na dito sa akin. ahahahahaha hindi ka talaga tinigilan umuwi ka na kasi!!!!!!! Wahahhahahaha”
Baste retorted, also in Bisaya: “Gang, huwag ka maingay. Nandito ako sa kwarto ni Chocolate.”
IS BASTE SINGLE OR TAKEN? Interestingly, Baste has been changing his tune about his relationship status.
Last Thursday, February 2, the 29-year-old presidential son revealed that he and his non-showbiz girlfriend, Kate Necesario, are still in a relationship.
But the following day, February 3, he posted another Facebook status saying, "I'm kidding. Naghiwalay talaga kami. I'm single and ready to mingle."
After a few hours, Baste changed his Facebook status again from single to "in a relationship."
Baste has a two-year-old son with Kate.
He reportedly also has a daughter with another ex-girlfriend.
