Miss Thailand Chalita Suansane is back in the Philippines.

The 22-year-old beauty queen arrived on Saturday, February 11, and shared her photo on Instagram at the airport with visibly less luggage.

When she first landed in Manila prior to the pageant, she gained attention because of her 17-piece luggage.

Chalita wrote, "I'm so glad to be back here again."

Chalita returned to the country to promote Thai tourism at the 24th Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) Travel Expo at the SMX Convention Center this weekend.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) was given the chance to catch up with Chalita before she went onstage to greet her Filipino fans at the travel expo.

With the help of an interpreter, Chalita noted that the Philippines is the first country she ever visited abroad.

The Thai beauty queen also reminisced the highlights of her stay all throughout the Miss Universe festivities, and pointed out that Ilocos Sur was the best part of their itinerary.

She told PEP, "The most favorite place I visited is Vigan City, which is a nice city in terms of culture and as an old city itself, it's amazing.

"And of course, I had the chance to wear the Terno outfit which looks really nice and got me a new experience."

PEP also asked how she would answer the final question at the Miss Universe pageant: "Name something in your life that you failed at, and tell us what you learned from that experience."

She answered, "From a personal point of view, I think every thing that came into or passed into my life would never be considered as a failure, but I will treat it or keep it as a lesson learned.

"So I will try to remember this lesson and keep it in my mind to improve or develop myself for my own plans in the future."

During the pageant finals held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City last January 30, Chalita landed in the Top 6, together with Philippine bet Maxine Medina.
