Kylie Padilla reveals she has never been starstruck with her matinee-idol cousin Daniel Padilla.
Kylie is the daughter of Robin Padilla, the younger brother of Daniel's dad, Rommel Padilla.
In a YouTube Q&A video that the Kapuso actress uploaded this April 17, a fan asked how is it to be a cousin of Daniel, one of ABS-CBN’s prime stars today.
Kylie answered, “I just see him as my cousin.
"It’s not really like, ‘Oh my God!’ I never get starstruck.
“It’s more like, ‘Yo, insan, long time no see. Hope you’re doing well.’”
The former Encantadia star then added, “I would like to see him in a not-showbiz setting.
“There’s always a showbiz setting, that’s kinda a tiring.
“When you see someone you haven’t seen in a while, and then there’s so many cameras, it gets kinda [vomiting sound]!”
Meanwhile, Kylie thanked her supporters for their continued support, even if she is now in a hiatus because of her pregnancy.
“You know how much love I have for you, guys.
“Thank you so much for not forgetting me even though I’ve been gone for a while.
“I just wanna say thank you. I never expected so much love from you guys.
"And I want you guys to know I appreciate the appreciation you have for YbrAmihan.”
YbrAmihan is the name of Kylie's love team with Ruru Madrid in Encantadia.
Ruru’s character is named Ybrahim while Kylie played Amihan.
