A certain Joey Bunquin has surfaced, alleging in a series of Facebook posts that he is the older brother of the late Pitchie Bunquin Inoue, the Pinay overseas worker in Japan whose selfie video claiming he was raped by her father, brother, and uncle is currently going viral.
Towards the latter part of the seven-minute video, Pitchie declared she was going to take her own life and showed how she had overdosed on unidentified pills.
The video of Pitchie—which garnered over 560,000 views at press time—was published on a blog site’s Youtube account last June 5.
Yesterday, June 7, Joey Bunquin gave a statement on his unverified Facebook account with the username Yeoj P. Bunquin.
Joey wrote, “Ang tanong, na rape ba talaga sya?
“Sa mga inakusahan Nya na lumapastangan sa kanya, sa ama at kapatid (ulitin ko hindi ako kasama doon dahil sa akin nga sya nagsusumbong), mayroon syang dahilan para idiin sila para mapwersa sila na magbayad.
“Malaki rin yung milyon na usapan.”
Joey was referring to Pitchie’s alleged rift with their sibling named Louie over property and money issues.
Based on his own Facebook post, Joey was doubtful of Pitchie’s rape allegation against their father and sibling.
Joey also did not specify who among his siblings Pitchie had accused of raping her.
But he admitted he was aware of Pitchie’s claim that she was allegedly sexually abused by their unnamed uncle.
Joey further wrote, “Pero doon sa tiyuhin na inakusahan nya na nangrape sa kanya. Ito ang masasabi ko. TOTOO yan!!!!
“Pano ko nalaman? Ang aking asawa ay lihim na naki pag-usap sa kanya
“Siguro para alamin din kung ako ba ay may kinalaman Jan.
“At para malaman nya ang sasabihin ni Pitchie dahil naglalabas si Pitchie sa kanya ng saloobin mula noon pa.
“Basahin nyo ang pahayag ni pitchie. (Paunawa, Ito ay naiforward Lang sa akin mula sa messenger chat Nila)..,”

Joey claimed Pitchie’s video of her failed suicide attempt took place in Japan last February 2017.
PITCHIE'S ALLEGED DEATH CERTIFICATE. But he did say that Pitchie died of cardiac arrest last June 1, 2017.
Pitchie’s elder brother also posted her supposed death certificate on his Facebook account.
However, it should be noted that Joey cropped the part of the death certificate with Pitchie’s name on it.
PROPERTY AND MONEY ISSUES? Joey further narrated that his sister Pitchie was quarreling with their father Sergio and brother Louie over a property in Laurel, Tondo, Manila.
He said Pitchie supposedly bought the property in Laurel and their father also shelled out money for it.
Still according to Joey, the conflict escalated when Pitchie suspected Louie’s wife had mortgaged the Laurel property.
Joey also narrated that Pitchie had badgered him for advice about her rift with their brother Louie.
He elaborated, “Galit si Pitchie kay Louie dahil si Rose na asawa nito ay may utang sa kanya na umaabot sa 1milyon.
“Galit sya dahil Hindi sya mabayaran ni Louie at Hindi naman Nya makausap ang asawa na parang nagtatago…”
He also cited an incident when Pitchie threatened to kill herself after another row with their parents about property ownership.
JOEY'S SUPPOSED MONEY ISSUE WITH PITCHIE. Joey, for his part, admitted that he and Pitchie had a falling out because he was having hard time paying the money he owed her.
