Piolo Pascual is the first-ever Optical Media Board ambassador. He said that he wants to use his celebrity status for a good cause.

“Sometimes I get caught by my emotion, but you don’t want it to get the better of you because, at the end of the day, you want to be the better person,” sabi ni Piolo.

“At the end of the day, as long as I know I’m doing what is right, what is legitimate and to advance a cause to raise awareness, use your celebrity status for a good cause, I don’t think I should be affected by those people who insinuate something that is not true.

"Because, at the end of the day, ako naman ang magiging judge ng sarili kong actions.

“So if you have something bad to say, then that is your problem.”

OMB AMBASSADOR.

“Being in this business for a long time, I think it entails responsibility also to do what we have to do to protect our content, to protect whatever work we have.

“And being a businessman myself, ito na siguro ang magiging advocacy ko in this business, because it’s important for us to raise awareness using your celebrity status.

“This is for me one of the privileges of being an actor na puwede mong gamitin to advance to whatever cause you may have and just for protection also,” sabi ni Piolo, na isa ring film producer.

“This is definitely for free. This is just an advocacy.

“Being in this industry, to be tapped by this agency, is a privilege for me already, not just being an ambassador of ABS-CBN or the entertainment industry in general.”
