Matteo Guidicelli neither confirmed nor denied the rumor that he and girlfriend Sarah Geronimo are planning to get married this 2017.
A report in Bandera Inquirer last July 20 stated that the couple supposedly talked to a wedding coordinator about their “big day” sometime this year.
Matteo was briefly interviewed by Cinema News at the unveiling of the Cars 3 exhibit at SM The Block, Quezon City, last Thursday, July 20.
When asked to comment on the said rumor, Matteo just laughed and said, “Sa movie? Nood na lang tayo...”
The 27-year-old actor was referring to Sarah’s latest movie with John Lloyd Cruz, Finally Found Someone, which will be shown in theaters starting tomorrow, July 26.
Still non-committal about the wedding rumor, Matteo vaguely continued, “Hindi ko alam.
“Tingnan natin! Ang init nga, e! I don’t know. I don’t know.”
Matteo went on to say that things are going well between him and the Popstar Princess, who just turned 28 today, July 25.
Matteo’s birthday message to his girlfriend of almost four years?
“I wish her all the best. She's becoming a great woman.
"She has always been a great woman, but she's evolving to be a better and better person every day.”
SARAH ON MARRIAGE. In a separate digital conference held on the same date, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked Sarah about her thoughts on getting married and what she would hypothetically say to her “future husband.”
Without naming names, Sarah gushed, “Dear future husband, I can’t wait to be with you and experience freedom with you!”
But why is she equating marriage to freedom?
The 27-year-old singer-actress elaborated, “Hindi nga, di ba?
“Siyempre, iba yung magiging buhay mo with your husband—iba yung mga realizations, mga discoveries about yourself din.
“So, yun lang. Hanggang dun na lang muna. Baka kung anong masabi ko!”
