Pahayag ni Gil tungkol dito, "You know, stuff like that, tinatawanan na lang namin...
"Ano ba 'yan, for people to come up with something like that, nakakatawa."
Sabi ng model-turned-actor, "It's okay, I mean, it's [part of showbiz]...
"Direk Joyce and I, our relationship off set, talagang...
"Basta it's something that we just really laugh about, like, balewala lang 'yang ano...
"We're great friends off set and I learned so much [from her].
"Aside from a great friend, she's also a mentor.
"So, you know, every time I'm with Direk Joyce, I'm also learning."
Paliwanag niya, "Why focus on something that will be detrimental to you instead of focusing on something that will be good to you?
"In my case, why should I focus sa lahat ng bashing, sa lahat ng hate, when I could be focusing on my workshop, with my acting, with what my next project is.
"I'd rather divert all my focus there."
Dagdag pa ng Kapuso talent, "Though, from time to time, pag nagiging personal na, if they're attacking my family minsan, that's where you step in.
"If it's just me, that's okay.
"But if you attack my family, my friends, that's where you step in.
"There's a fine line when to step in and when not to."
"You learn your lesson, I think that's the more important thing.
"After each mistake that you make, it's about learning your lesson.
"I think I had to learn it the hard way, pero nonetheless, I was thankful to learn that lesson."

CAREER PROGRESS.
Reaksiyon ni Gil, "For her to say na parang bitin yung show, I guess it's a good thing for me; not just me, but also Jennylyn.
"It means na Direk Joyce still wanted to work pa, still wanted to give something to the show.
"She really gave her everything, she really gave her everything for the show."
"I'd be happy to work with anyone, actually.
"Whether that'd be Jennylyn or ibang leading lady, I'm completely fine.
"The more important thing is, as a leading man, to make them feel loved and beautiful at all times."
