Short of confirming that she and John Lloyd Cruz are in a relationship, Ellen Adarna acknowledged that her love life is certainly blooming these past few weeks.
In her Instagram story last night, September 22, the 29-year-old Kapamilya actress posted a screenshot of her conversation with Leyte Fourth District Representative Lucy Torres-Gomez via Instagram.
Based on their conversation, Lucy seemed to be urging Ellen to light a candle and pray for a happy romance with the latter’s current beau.
While Lucy didn't mention any names, it can be deduced that she was probably urging Ellen to pray for her relationship with John Lloyd, whose viral Bantayan Island getaway pics and videos with Ellen made headlines and fanned speculations of a rumored romance between the two Home Sweetie Home co-stars.
Written in Cebuano, English, and Italian, their online convo started when Lucy wrote, “Gamita na ang kandila. Romansa is alive and live! (Gamitin mo na ang kandila… Romansa is alive and live!)”
Ellen responded, “Hapit na!! Haahhaahahahahaa! (Malapit na!! Haahhaahahahahaa!)”
PRAYING FOR LOVE. The 42-year-old congresswoman teasingly added that she would send Ellen more stacks of candles, which, according to Roman Catholic practice, are lit by churchgoers offering prayers for a petition.
Lucy wrote, “Ayaw kaguol mahurot! Inig kahurot padalhan Taka ug supply para padayon ang romansa ahahahaha! (Huwag kang malungkot kapag ubos na, papadalhan kita ng supply upang tuloy tuloy lang ang romansa. Ahhahaha)
“Happy for you! Enjoy the journey!”
Ellen answered, “Thanks my mother mary version ahahahhahahahah”
Lucy went on to say that she often sees Ellen’s Instagram feed, which, as of late, has been flooded with the actress's out-of-town getaways with the 34-year-old Kapamilya actor.
“Hahahaha! Apir sister! You make me laugh everyday, if I am sad I look at your page and your Yaya is epic too! Notzzzzzzz!”
INSEPARABLE DUO. Fueling the romance rumor even further, Ellen posted on Instagram more photos of John Lloyd sporting a new haircut.
Her caption read: "@ekomsi ?????????? ang fresh ni kuya parang highschool lang hahaaha #chessNights"
The two were practically inseparable as they hit the gym and went to the salon together a few days after their second trip to Cebu (Mactan) with a couple of non-showbiz friends.
