Newly engaged couple Dianne Medina and Rodjun Cruz are looking at a wedding date on December 2019.
“Actually, wala pang official date talaga, pero parang gusto namin December para festive,” Dianne told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during a brief phone interview last Saturday, October 14.
She and Rodjun decided to set the wedding date in 2019 as both still have several work commitments.
Dianne said she also didn’t want to rush the preparations.
“I think late na kung 2018 because of the preparation.
"Matatapos na yung taon ngayon, one year is super-bilis lang iyan.”
The 29-year-old freelance actress envisions a “festive” wedding, and the month of December 2019 is perfect for it.
Dianne said, “Gusto ko marami—family, friends celebrating love and family.
“Lalo na Pasko. Ganun, ganun gusto ko.
"Christmas, happy lang.
“Kahit simple lang, okay lang ako.
“Basta si Rodjun ang gusto kong partner in life.
“As long as happy lang yung wedding.
“As long [as] yung purpose, nandun.
“Promise, wala akong arte!”
Dianne and Rodjun became engaged last October 10 on his 30th birthday celebration in Boracay.
Their proposal video trended in social media with over 1.3 million hits.
Dianne expressed her gratitude to their supporters.
“I’m so happy kasi nag-trend kami! First time!
“Natutuwa ako 1.3 million views na yata iyong proposal.
“At yung mga tao, nothing but love talaga for us. Puro positivity.”
Dianne and Rodjun have been a couple for 10 years.
