Unconscious at nananatili pa ring nakaratay sa Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) ng Hamad General Hospital sa Doha, Qatar, ang actress-singer na si Isabel Granada.
Ito ang ibinigay na update ng pinsan ni Isabel na si Joseph Rivera sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ngayong Miyerkules ng gabi, October 25.
Si Joseph, na naka-based sa Qatar, ang chairman ng organisasyong nag-imbita kay Isabel na maging keynote speaker sa Philippine Trade and Tourism Conference, na ginanap sa Doha noong Biyernes, October 20.
Ayon kay Joseph, “Isabel remains in the same unconscious state though her vital signs are good.
“Visitors to the Surgical ICU unit have now been restricted, and only her husband Arnel Cowley is allowed to see her as numerous ongoing tests for her positive response are ongoing.
“Our family remains thankful for all the support and we request all of our friends and relatives to continue praying for her swift and fast recovery.”
Nagpaabot na rin daw ng suporta sa Filipino-Spanish actress ang Philippine Embassy at Spanish Embassy officials sa Qatar.
Sabi ni Joseph, “As of now, representatives of the Spanish Embassy are with Arnel in the SICU.
“Kahapon naman, full support din ang mga officials from the Philippine Embassy.”
Dumagsa rin daw ang ilang mga tagahanga ni Isabel sa labas ng Hamad General Hospital upang magpakita ng suporta sa aktres.
Noong madaling-araw ng October 25, ibinahagi ng mga kaibigan ni Isabel na sina Bianca Lapus at Robby Tarrazo na nag-collapse ang 41-year-old actress dahil sa aneurysm.
Nanawagan naman ang mister ni Isabel na si Arnel na tigilan na ng ilang netizens ang pagpapakalat ng maling impormasyon tungkol sa kalagayan ng asawa, dahil buhay pa raw ito at patuloy na lumalaban.
