In a rare moment, Jodi Sta. Maria posted on Instagram a photo showing her family outing with boyfriend, Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla, together with her ex-husband Pampi Lacson and the latter's current partner, Iwa Moto.
The two couples brought their children along for a fun holiday vacation in Singapore.
In the caption of her Instagram post last October 30, Jodi described her unconventional but harmonious family set-up with her former husband.
The 35-year-old actress wrote, "Blessed. Loved. At peace. Favored. By His grace only.
"With God, nothing is impossible.
"He takes all of our broken pieces and puts them back together beautifully. #OurFamily #GodsGrace"
Yesterday, November 2, Iwa also posted on her Instagram account another "family" portrait of their group's vacation in Singapore.
The 29-year-old former StarStruck First Princess' caption read: "Family isn’t always blood.
"It's the people in your life who want you in theirs, the ones who accept you for who you are.
"The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what.
"Thank you Lord the blessing of family. We must keep in mind that FAMILY comes in all shapes and sizes."
"UNEXPECTED FRIENDSHIP." In a separate post, Iwa briefly described her closeness with Jodi: "Indeed unexpected friendships are the best ones."
The two used to be not on speaking terms following the breakdown of Jodi and Pampi's marriage in 2012.
Whatever conflict they've had in the past, Jodi has long since made peace with Pampi and Iwa.
As early as 2013, the Kapamilya actress has reached out to Iwa after the latter gave birth to her daughter with Pampi.
In December 2016, Iwa began posting on Instagram photos showing her bonding sessions with Jodi and the actress' son with Pampi.
There were at least four instances when Iwa and Jodi have been sighted spending time together with their kids.
In her interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Jodi affirmed that she considers Iwa and Pampi part of her "family."
Jodi said, “Siyempre isang family na rin kami, di ba?
“Nakakatuwa na healthy at maganda ang relationship namin sa isa’t isa.”
