Maine Mendoza's thoughts on love: "Craziest thing I'll do for love? Give up everything."

Maine Mendoza made a strong statement about the craziest thing she’ll do for the man she loves.

Speaking to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), she said, “Craziest thing I’ll do for love? Give up everything.”

She added in between laughs, “Anong gusto mo, lumaklak ng hot sauce?”

After pausing for a bit to think about her answer, the 22-year-old Kapuso actress/TV host affirmed that giving up everything is the “craziest thing I’ll do for the right person.”

Does she set a high standard for her ideal boyfriend?

Maine replied, “Hindi naman. As in wala talaga akong standard sa lalaki.

I have yet to find out. Hindi ko rin alam.”

Maine sat down for an exclusive interview with PEP.ph during her video shoot for her book Yup, I am That Girl, published by Summit Media Books.

The embargoed interview was held at the Edge of Light Studios in Quezon City last May 30.

FIRST BOOK. In Yup, I am That Girl, Maine wrote about her heartaches, fun college life, entry to showbiz, and her phenomenal teamup with Alden Richards.

Asked about her experience writing her first book, Maine related that she’s really hands on with it.

She made it a point to include tips to her readers for every chapter of the book.

“Masaya kasi siyempre nasi-share mo yung life experiences mo and lessons in life na natutunan mo.

She also agreed that writing for Yup, I am That Girl almost felt like writing in her own diary.
