Paliwanag ni Enchong, “It's just like this, for example, the economy of the Philippines grew so much, of course, our currency improves.

“At the same time, we have so much talent, we have so much great Filipino workforce.

“Yet, lahat ng magagaling sa atin or majority ng mga magagaling sa atin are abroad, far away from their family.

“I know the feeling of having a family outside the country because my brother [AJ Dee] migrated to Norway, you don't want that.

“I mean, if my parents are here, kasama ng mga bata, di ba, you're investing in the smallest unit of our country, just the family.

"If that's healthy, the whole country is healthy.

“Parang I'm just looking at it at a bigger picture.”

Diin pa niya, “Kasi, if I will be selfish, I don't care, I have a restaurant, I have a job... But I still care for these people.

“I don't like seeing kids asking for money because they're hungry, that's why I always have pica-pica in my bag.”

Nakausap ng PEP.ph at iba pang reporters si Enchong matapos siyang maipakilala bilang brand ambassador ng Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken and Sauce Bar sa Greenbelt 3, Makati City, noong Biyernes, November 17.

NO TO POLITICS.

“Parang I always ask myself what's the point of running, what's the purpose of running.

“Sabi ko, I want to help the people. Like the normal answer of any politician, I want to help the people.

I can help the people even if I'm in the business.

“Baka I can help the people without even running for a position in the government.”

“I'm actually happy with the ASEAN. Sabi ko nga, nami-misinterpret ng mga tao.

“Sabi ko nga, with the administration, kapag may ginagawa naman silang maganda, I'm for it,” nakangiting pagtatapos ni Enchong.
