All is not lost for Rachel Peters who remains upbeat after failing to bring home the Miss Universe crown.
The beauty queen made it to Top 10 at the recently concluded Miss Universe 2017 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Musing about the pageant, the 26-year-old Filipina beauty queen said her experience at the Miss Universe competition made her “stronger, braver, and more confident.”
She said, “Going into any pageant—most especially Miss Universe—changes you.
“It makes you stronger, braver, and more ready to face whether else comes after the pageant.
“Going into something like that, it takes a lot of bravery.
“And you become more confident in who you are.
“You learn how you can help others around you.”
The media caught up with Rachel together with other Miss Universe 2017 beauties yesterday, December 7, during their mission to bring cheer to the kids from Kanlungan ni Erma Ministry at the Jollibee Macapagal Biopolis branch, along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard, in Pasay City.
What can the public expect next from Rachel?
“Christmas is coming up, it’s time for family and taking a moment to be thankful for everything.
“So, you know, that’s I’m going to do.
“I’m just kind of taking it easy for now
“I’ll be with my family in Thailand, and then we’ll see what happens in 2018,” she said.
