Aicelle Santos reveals three things that keep her relationship with Mark Zambrano strong: constant communication, trust, and respect for each other's individuality. However, she admitted that they're not really rushing to tie the knot.

Aicelle Santos, 32, described her relationship with boyfriend Mark Zambrano, 40, as being at that stage where they've talked about tying the knot.

In her interview with (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Aicelle admitted, “We have talks. We have plans.

"Pero darating din tayo sa tamang panahon.”

Asked if their parents have been encouraging them to take the plunge, Kapuso singer/actress said that her mom tells them to just enjoy this season in their life first.

She said, “She likes Mark for me, pero take it easy kasi marami pang kailangang gawin.”

According to Aicelle, there seems to be more pressure in the case of the GMA-7 news reporter’s parents.

She added, smiling, “Siyempre kinukulit kasi he's of age na, e.

"Sabagay, lalaki naman siya, e.

"Pero chill lang kami.”

PEP’s solo interview with Aicelle happened after the presscon of the Metro Manila Film Fest entry Ang Larawan, held last Friday, December 8, at Promenade Hall in Promenade Mall, Greenhills, San Juan City.

For the past one and a half years, Aicelle and Mark have openly showed the progress of their relationship as documented on their respective Instagram accounts.

ANSWERED PRAYERS. They have been very vocal about being each other’s answered prayer.

Aicelle admitted, “I prayed for something like this.

"Yung prayer namin patuloy pa rin to keep us strong, to keep us together till the end and for God to bless us more.”

While they admitted to being far from a perfect couple, Aicelle revealed the three things that keep them strong: constant communication, trust, and respect for each other’s individuality.

She elaborated, “He needs his own space and time alone. I need that also.

“Sabi ko nga, e, kung ira-rank mo yun sa akin, respect comes first before love.

"Yung trust it will follow, e, kasi trust is earned.

“Minsan yung love wala ka na sa lugar, di ba?

"Lalo na ang babae very hormonal, minsan wala ka na sa lugar.

“Minsan you should think it out first before saying things, baka makasakit ka na pala.

“It goes with other relationships, e.

"Hindi lang yung boyfriend-girlfriend, pati sa parents and friends, yung ganong klaseng respect and love.”
