“I’ve read a lot of nasty things, I’ve heard a lot of nasty things.

Tugon ni Mariel, “I don’t think anything went wrong. It’s more of, it really wasn’t meant for me.

“I know I gave my all. I did my best. I did what I could do. I did what I had to do.

“It wasn’t just my destiny.

"And for me, that was okay because, at least, I got to stand on an international stage with 70 other women.

“That’s why it’s win or learn, kasi I gained a lot of experiences, memories.

ON MOCHA USON.

“I didn’t think it would have that much of an impact. “

Gayunpaman, wala raw siyang pagsisisi sa kanyang tweet.

“If I didn’t post that, then I wouldn’t be who I am today, I wouldn’t be where I am today, with the things that are happening right now.

“I was just being myself, honestly. I just wanted to voice out an opinion, which I have a right to do.

“Everyone has the right to do that.”
