Jameson Blake of the Hashtags reveals some fans of Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona are reacting negatively to his teamup with the young actress.

Jameson Blake of the ABS-CBN all-male group Hashtags reveals that some fans of Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona, a.k.a. ElNella, are reacting negatively to his teamup with the young actress in the upcoming movie So Connected.

He said, “Working with her as my leading lady, there are always some people na medyo nagdi-disagree.”

So how is Jameson taking it?

“I can’t control it, to be honest naman, I’m not saying I’m getting her or whatever.

"It’s people’s views, people still bash me, saying parang ang yabang-yabang ko.

"Ano ang sinasabi ko? It’s like I’m sticking my nose in them. I’m not.

“I even said everyone sees they’re [ElNella] the official love team.

"We can see their success together, you can see how close they are.

"So why do I have to butt in, di ba?” the budding actor reasoned.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) spoke with Jameson at the blog conference of the Regal Films movie, Haunted Forest, an official entry in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.

He continued that his teamup with Janella is for the fans.

As for their negative reactions, “It’s their own opinion, so I’m leaving it behind.

“Even if you do the right thing, people will still say bad things about you.

"They will always have something bad to say

“Everyone has his own opinion, so let’s leave that behind.

“I’ll be quiet na lang.”

Haunted Forest also stars Jane Oineza, Maris Racal, Jon Lucas, Joey Marquez, and Raymart Santiago. It will open in cinemas on Christmas Day, December 25.
