John Lloyd Cruz, 34, and Ellen Adarna, 29, spent their first Christmas as a couple.
On Christmas Day, December 25, the two took a souvenir photo of themselves as they sat on the stairs of their love nest.
It was not clear, however, if their location was John Lloyd's or Ellen's apartment.
Ellen's short but cheery caption was, "Merry Xmas!!!"
In the comments' section, some bashers criticized Ellen and John Lloyd's relationship.
One of them questioned, "Buntis ka ba talaga?"
The 29-year-old sexy star laughed off the negative comments about her and matinee-idol beau.
Referring to her bashers, Ellen wrote, "lol! Hirap na hirap sila mag move on [laughing emojis]"
Ellen had on a dark ensemble, and sat comfortably with her palm on her chin. The pose hid her baby bump.
It was on November 19, or more than a month ago, when PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) first reported that Ellen was pregnant and that John Lloyd was the father.
Then, in the first week of December, word got out that the couple were now engaged.
A screenshot of Ellen's supposed three-million-peso engagement ring also made the rounds online.
To date, John Lloyd and Ellen have yet to issue an official statement about either the pregnancy or the engagement news.
But they seem to have cemented their relationship with more cozy photos of them spending time together, sometimes as a couple and sometimes with close friends.
