Andre Paras, 22, said he never got romantically involved with a girl who has a boyfriend.
"Oh, no! Ayoko to be part of any love triangle. Laking problema nun."
The Kapuso actor went on to say that he wouldn’t make a move even with a girl he likes if she’s already taken.
“Siguro crush lang. Pero never na, ‘Uy, mas bagay tayo.’
“To be honest, for me, it’s really weird for someone to do that.”
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) interviewed Andre after the press launch of GMA-7’s newest primetime series, Sherlock Jr., held at Cities Events Place in Quezon City, last January 22.
Andre said he only had one girlfriend in the past, but “it didn’t work out.”
Talking about how it happened before he entered showbiz, he related, “Few years later, I'm in showbiz. It’s a good thing ngayon focused na.”
If he goes back to the dating scene again, what would be his courting style?
Andre answered, “Based on my friends' experience, yung mga kuwento sa akin, mahirap yung you know each other then date.
“Tapos nung in love na kayo, dun lang lalabas yung totoong pagkatao.
“So, ang hirap, ‘Ay, hindi ko pala gusto. Ano pala siya, ganito-ganyan.’
“So it’s better to know the person first, be friends first.
“E, di kung hindi, you don’t have to say ‘friends muna tayo’ kasi wala naman kayong labels.
“For me, gusto ko yun gawin muna.”
