Kris Aquino recalls hardships she went through: "Parang that was a process of 14 months na talagang trinay ako ni God, tinest yung faith ko. It was after that that things started falling into place."

Aniya, “I posted kanina lang, nasabi ko na, 'Remember when you were just wishing for all of these?'

“So, sabi ko, what a difference a year makes. I need to go through 2017...

"I guess, from April of 2016 all the way to when Crazy Rich Asians was shot.

“Parati kong nakakalimutan kung kailan ako nag-shoot, June 23 of 2017.

“Parang that was a process of 14 months na talagang trinay ako ni God, tinest yung faith ko.

“It was after that that things started falling into place.”

“I actually texted a priest of mine and said, 'The tithing from the downpayment of this is going straight to you.'

“Sabi ko, 'Thank you for praying for me continously.'

“As you said... I don't think it's correct to be earning the kind of money I'm earning and not spreading it and not sharing it.

“Parang ano 'yan, e, I don't think the blessing will continue if I was just being selfish about it.”

Bago pa magpatuloy tungkol sa pagtulong sa iba't ibang charities, nagpasintabi muna ang TV host-actress at social media influencer dahil, biro niya, “I know you're not supposed to talk about charities because I'm sure maba-bash na naman ako, 'Bakit pinag-uusapan ang charities niya?'

“I like talking about people because I like telling people that you do have to share, that's why God blesses you.

“You do have to highlight that, na there is a part of you that believes in giving back to the community.”

Patuloy ni Kris tungkol sa pangakong pagtulong sa mga parokyang nangangailangan, “So, this particular endeavor that I'm supporting is actually spearheaded in an Ayala property, the Greenbelt chapel, because they have 'Love a Parish.'

“They help poor parishes all around. They're helping more than 200 of the poor parishes.

“Sabi ko, that's my birthday offering for them.

“That's what makes it special, I think, because of these and everything good happening in my life, nadadagdagan.”

“It's really a circle of prosperity.

“I really think that how Filipinos should be thinking, na it should not all about yourself.

“How are these endorsements will continue if people are not earning and other people are not being helped.

“I need them to also rise up from where they are right now in order for them to buy the products that I am endorsing.

“So, yun, I really believe in giving back.”
