Coleen Garcia, 25, said she and fiancé Billy Crawford, 35, don’t usually celebrate Valentine’s Day because they always save their romantic gestures for their anniversaries.
What then is her most unforgettable date with Billy?
Coleen answered, “Pinaka na-surprise ako nung nag-book siya ng chopper and then nag-fly kami to Tagaytay to have a meal and nagpa-massage kami sa spa.”
Apparently, it was Billy’s way to beat Manila traffic, treat his girl to something special, and then take her back to the metro in time for a simple but unforgettable bonding moment at home.
“We went back just in time to watch yung first Maalaala Mo Kaya episode ko na ipinalabas that same day.
"Very thoughtful lang kasi naisip niya yung importance na mapanood ko yun.
"Yun ang pinaka-sweet for me."
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with Coleen at the shoot of PEPtalk Live, held at the PEP headquarters, Tuesday, February 13.
WEDDING PREP. With only a few months to go before her wedding day, the soon-to-be Mrs. Crawford looks chill even as she juggles wedding preparations with publicity rounds for her film Sin Island.
To which Coleen replied, smiling, “Ganyan lang talaga ako, chill.
"Pero deep inside, ‘Oh my gosh! Wala pang invitations!’
"Pero kalma. Sa showbiz naman, sanay tayo sa last minute, e.”
Aside from the wedding invites, Coleen said she’s also scheduled to fly to Hong Kong to pick up her wedding gown created by an Israeli designer.
But more than her big day, Coleen is also preparing her mindset as a soon-to-be-wife.
Talking about the importance of prioritizing one’s partner, Coleen said, “Ang hierarchy niya dapat is God, your partner, then your children.
“Even before your children, dapat your partner talaga muna.
“Kapag depressed siya, and then hindi mo maasikaso kasi busy ka and everything, hindi mo talaga masisisi kung hahanapin niya sa iba.
"So you really have to be there for him."
