Korean actress-singer Suzy Bae has been confirmed to be dating Goblin star Lee Dong Wook.
News about their dating hit the headlines of major Korean news sites today, March 9.
Both of their management confirmed the news.
King Kong by Starship, which handles Dong Wook, said in a statement, “They met at a private, casual gathering.
"They recently started to get to know each other with good intentions and have feelings for each other.
"Because it’s still the beginning and we just learned about it, there’s not much we can say about them dating or being a couple."
JYP Entertainment, where Suzy is under contract, said, “They are currently in the process of getting to know each other.”
Suzy, 23, was a member of the all-female K-pop group Miss A and is one of the most sought-after endorsers in South Korea.
She also starred in several movies and drama series, including Dream High (2011), Architecture 101 (2012), Uncontrollably Fond (2016), and While You Were Sleeping (2017).
Suzy previously dated another popular actor, Lee Min Ho.
Lee Dong Wook, 36, on the other hand, recently played as the Grim Reaper in the popular Koreanovela Goblin, shown locally in ABS-CBN.
His other popular drama series include My Girl (2005-2006), Scent of A Woman (2011), and Hotel King (2016).
Their romance can be traced back as early as 2012, when Suzy named Dong Wook as her ideal type during an appearance on the TV show Strong Heart, where the actor was one of the hosts.
According to various sources, Dong Wook fell for Suzy’s down-to-earth character.
The couple is said to be getting along because of their similarly bright personalities, and have reportedly been spotted carefully going on dates together.
