Kiana Valenciano (left) and Jamie Herrell (right) took to social media to declare how proud they are to be Pinoys after experiencing racism at the Los Angeles fashion week.

Hindi nagpatinag sina Kiana Valencino at Miss Earth 2014 Jamie Herrell sa kanilang naranasang diskriminasyon sa Los Angeles (L.A.) Fashion Week sa Amerika.

Sina Kiana, Jamie, at lima pang modelong Pilipino ay na-ban na rumampa sa isa sa mga show ng L.A. Fashion Week noong March 13 (Philippine time).

Tweet ng anak ni Gary Valenciano, “I don’t think I’ve ever been more proud to be a Filipina.”

Pahayag niya, “One man doesn’t define a whole nation.

"After the L.A. fashion week experience I have been receiving many messages about this issue on my social media accounts.

“Yes, racism is still an issue and what has happened shouldn’t have happened, but not all people are the same.”

“I have met wonderful people of different race and colour in America (including Americans) and this one man will not taint my image of the good people I have met in this country.”

Aniya pa, “So for the women and men who want to make a career here please keep that hope and give yourself the chance to make your dreams come true.

“Filipinos are strong at heart and let’s continue to show that to the world.”

"NO FILIPINOS ON THE RUNWAY." Ang grupo nina Kiana at Jamie ay naimbitahang rumampa sa opening show ng Lebanese fashion designer na si Elie Madi para sa L.A. Fashion Week.
