Ibinahagi ni Kiana Valenciano ang hindi magandang karanasan sa isang fashion show na parte ng L.A. Fashion Week sa California in partnership with AIDS Foundation.
Naimbitahan si Kiana, si Miss Earth 2014 Jamie Herrell, at lima pang Pinay models na mag-participate sa fashion show.
Ang nag-imbita sa kanila ay ang founder ng For The Stars Fashion House na si Jacob Meir.
Ngunit bago pa siya makarating sa event ay nasabihan na si Kiana tungkol sa gusot na nangyayari sa show.
Lahad niya, “What happened was we were on our way and we were told that the show was cancelled.
“Nag pull out yung mga designers kasi yung producer ayaw daw magpalakad ng mga Filipina models.”
Ayon kay Kiana, higit sa sarili ay nasaktan siya sa mga kasamang mga Pinay na napahiya sa nangyari.
“A lot of people are expecting na na-distress ako, na na-sad ako, I think that all things happened for a reason.
“I got more hurt for the girls that were there kasi nandun na sila, e, sila yung parang napahiya.
“They were already there and they were not allowed in the make-up chair.
"It was really unexpected na nangyari yun.
“For myself, I still got a great trip out of it, it was still an amazing experience.
“I had a great trip regardless, I was able to meet the great fashion designers.
"And we were able to shoot their clothes, masaya pa rin.”
Nakapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at Cinema News si Kiana sa launch ng Whisper Curvalicious, sa Valkyrie, kahapon, March 20.
NO COMMENT. Ayon sa balita, naglabas ng statement ang presidente ng Art Hearts Fashion International na si Erik Rosete at sinabing hindi na-cancel ang fashion show dahil ayaw niyang parampahin ang Pinay models.
May utang daw kasi si Jacob Meir na umabot sa halos $100,000.
Ayaw namang magbigay ng komento tungkol dito ni Kiana.
Sabi lang niya, “We still try to figure it out, I think in the next few days, everyone will know what really happened.
“I don’t wanna put up any details yet ‘cause I think that is between the two of them.
"That has nothing really to do with me. Hintayin na lang natin yung statement ni Jacob.”
