Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray appeals for positivity on social media amid frantic bashing among pageant fans: "I think the future is very bright for us, so please just spread love, unity and positivity online and please support our journeys for the crowns."

Diin ni Catriona, “I just wanna promote positivity online.

“Let all the fans unite in supporting the queens for this 2018 batch, which was an amazing batch of girls, if I may say so myself.

“I think the future is very bright for us, so please just spread love, unity and positivity online and please support our journeys for the crowns.

SANDRA LEMONON.

Pagpuri niya kay Sandra, “I think it’s really a good thing that she came out of that situation a winner in her own right.

“It's also good that we've enlightened people who may not have been fully aware of it. So, it's something really good.”

NEW CROWN DESIGN.

Paglinaw niya, “I don’t have a problem with it. It’s the queens who make the crown.

“I’m sure that each of us will leave a legacy with the crown, not just the design.”

EAR CUFF.

“Super saya, very overwhelmed.

“It's something I wanted to do for the Philippines talaga—to show such patriotism in my evening gown, so I’m very happy with the buzz that they gave us.”

Saad niya, “I haven't started pa, but this week onwards, definitely I will sit down with my team and really plan for it.”

ADVOCACY.

Pahayag niya, “Definitely to bring awareness, a very timely conversation to have that we should have the knowledge and the education.

“Not just the parents of the children who are affected but for the community in general.

“We are taking steps to build a more inclusive society and I think that’s something very important.”
