Alessandra de Rossi denied that she is in a relationship with singer-actor Marc Abaya.
The 33-year-old actress said, “I’ve always been single and available, you know that.”
When told that showbiz insiders have known about their romance for some time now, Alessandra pointed out that she never made an official statement about dating Marc.
Downplaying queries about her love life, she reasoned, “May sinabi ba ako ever? Wala naman.
“Halungkatin niyo kung saan ko sinabi yun. Parang wala naman.”
At this point in her life, Alessandra insisted that she’s not interested in having a boyfriend.
“Hindi ko rin siya naiisip. I am single, and available, and a pretty girl.”
Steering the conversation away from her relationship status, Alessandra jokingly attempted to kiss her Since I Found You co-star Empoy Marquez.
She exclaimed, "Sweet din kami ni Empoy. Bakit sa iba palaging may malisya, sa 'yo wala?"
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) interviewed Alessandra at the presscon for ABS-CBN’s newest prime time series Since I Found You held at the 14th floor of ABS-CBN’s ELJ Building in Quezon City last night, April 11.
While they are often seen vacationing together, in and out of the country, Alessandra and Marc have been evasive about the real score between them.
It was only Marc who spoke about his closeness with Alessandra whom he described as “beautiful, very passionate, and kindhearted” person.
In previous interviews with PEP.ph, Marc related that he and Alessandra have known each other for a long time.
They have worked together in the now-defunct GMA-7 prime time series Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real in 2014.
But according to the Kjwan lead singer, it was only when they collaborated for Alessandra’s song “Swept Away” that they became close friends.
They did a music video for the same song in 2016.
Last January 5, 2018, Alessandra refuted speculations that she is the unnamed actress in a blind item about a couple who had a quarrel with the unnamed guy's father.
She tweeted, "Grabe, ang ganda ko! Mas maganda pa ako sa umaga. Fake news."
