Piolo Pascual has proclaimed he is single by choice, saying, “Tsaka na lang, hindi sa walang time."
Talking to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), he explained, "Choice ko, pasensiya naman.
“Andami ko kasing gustong gawin sa buhay; in all honesty, hindi ko siya hinahanap.
"Ayoko siya hanapin, ayoko na lang muna.”
A co-founder of Spring Films, he said their business plan is set until 2020 with five movies in the pipeline.
Is the 41-year-old actor saying no to having a girlfriend until then?
Piolo answered, smiling, “Idi-devote ko muna yung oras ko where I see fit.
“For the next couple of years, eto na muna para mas tutok ako, so pasensiya na lang.”
Piolo further clarified, “Ayaw nating makasakit.
"Ang love life ko, yung career ko, hindi naman ako selfish na tao.
“Feeling ko mas maibibigay ko yung sarili ko kung wala pang nangyayari masyado sa buhay.
“So, trabaho na lang muna... yung mga bagay na 'yan mas maganda pag dumating nang kusa."
PEP.ph and other entertainment reporters interviewed Piolo at the presscon for Since I Found You, which marks his return to prime time TV four years after his last teleserye, Hawak Kamay.
The presscon was held at the 14th floor of ABS-CBN’s ELJ Building last Wednesday, April 10.
