Charlene Gonzalez mourns death of stepfather Pepito Vera-Perez

Isang madamdaming mensahe ang ibinahagi ni Charlene Gonzalez kaugnay ng pagpanaw ng kanyang nakagisnang ama na si Pepito Vera-Perez noong May 23. Sa darating na Sabado, June 2, iki-cremate ang mga labi ng stepfather ni Charlene. 


Pumanaw noong May 23, Miyerkules, ang stepfather ni Charlene Gonzalez na si Pepito “Pete” Vera-Perez sa edad na 74.

Sa Instagram post niya ngayong Biyernes, June 1, naghayag ng kanyang kalungkutan ang misis ng aktor na si Aga Muhlach.

Sa kanyang mensahe, sinariwa ni Charlene kung paano siya napalapit sa ama-amahan.

Mensahe ng dating beauty queen, “I fondly call him Uncle Pete. Although, he was not technically my uncle… He was not only my stepfather…

“He was the father figure in my life and a great inspiration…

“I was not his biological daughter but he and his family treated me & my brother like their own.

“I will always be truly grateful to the Vera-Perez family…”

Ang biological father ni Charlene ay ang dating action star na si Bernard Bonnin, na pumanaw na rin noong 2009 dahil sa stroke.

Ang ina naman ng aktres ay si Elvie Gonzalez, at stepbrother naman niya ang aktor na si Lander Vera-Perez.


Kasunod nito, inaalala naman ni Charlene ang mga kabutihang nagawa sa kanya ng stepfather at kung gaano siya nalungkot noong naratay ito sa banig ng karamdaman dahil sa severe stroke.

“One of the families I knew growing up & continues to have a great influence in my life.

“From the time I was 3 years old to the time I got married, till now. Thank you for the love and kindness…

"Uncle Pete helped my mom guide me, loved my brother & I through the years.

“Unfortunately, 8 years ago we lost him due to a severe stroke and that was the last time he could understand us.

“It still hurts today, to physically lose him forever in our lives. He was such a free-spirited person, with such a kind heart.”

Bukas, June 2, ang cremation ng mga labi ng yumao.

I fondly call him Uncle Pete. Although, he was not technically my uncle.. He was not only my stepfather.. He was the father figure in my life and a great inspiration.. I was not his biological daughter but he and his family treated me & my brother like their own. I will always be truly grateful to the Vera Perez family..
