Dinepensahan ni Jessica Sanchez si Morisette Amon mula sa bintang na sinapawan nito ang Americian Idol alumna nang mag-duet sila sa ASAP noong May 27.
Kinanta nila ang “Stone Cold” na orihinal na kinanta ng international singer na si Demi Lovato.
“I think people take it the wrong way,” bungad na depensa ni Jessica nang makausap siya ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at Cinema News sa set ng ASAP noong nakaraang Linggo, June 3.
Patuloy pa niya, “It was never a competition, it was a duet.
“We're two different singers and she's just absolutely amazing.
“I was very honored to sing with her.
“Thank you, Morissette, for having me.
“Thank you, ASAP, for having me on stage but it was never a competition.”
Kaugnay nito, lubos din daw natutuwa si Jessica dahil dalawang Linggo na siya naging guest sa ASAP.
“They invited me last week.
“It was an awesome performance with Morisette, so I decided I like to come back and see the crowd again. It was awesome.”
INTERNATIONAL CAREER. Samantala, kinumusta rin namin si Jessica tungkol sa kanyang career sa ibang bansa.
“It's good, actually, I was travelling a lot abroad.
“Philippines is one stop and also Europe, I have my production team on MGM. It's not just in States, it is also international.”
May bagong kanta rin daw ngayon si Jessica.
Aniya, “It's called 'Millionaire,' so you can check it out on Spotify. It's out now, [released] two weeks ago.”
Sa kabilang banda, patuloy pa rin daw ang isa sa mga naging layunin niya nang sumali siya sa American Idol Season 11, ang magbigay karangalan sa Pilipinas.
“That is my goal, to put the Filipino on the map and also to represent my Filipino side and my Mexican side.
“I'm very proud and happy to represent that for U.S.,” sabi ni Jessica.
Sa ngayon, ine-enjoy muna ni Jessica ang kanyang bakasyon sa Pilipinas. Isang magandang pagkakataon daw ito para makasama ang pamilya, ilang bagong kaibigan, at ma-explore ang ilang magagandang lugar sa bansa.
“I just make myself busy,” ani Jessica.
“I don't know since I came back here, it seems like I'm packing my schedule.
“Also my family is here, I'm super excited hanging out with them.
“I'm making new friends too here with other celebrities, just kinda like explore the Philippines.
“It was my first time out here to be able to do that because I have time now.”
Hanggang June 13 daw ang pamamalagi ni Jessica sa bansa.
