Ice Seguerra on undergoing hormone replacement therapy: "The problem is me accepting me."

Ice Seguerra on possibility of undergoing sexual reassignment surgery: "Nung una, andun rin ako sa parang, 'Why? Bakit kailangan? Bakit ganito?' Pero alam mo, sometimes, especially nung nag-come out na ako as trans, it's so hard waking up every day seeing that you're in this body."

Bakit kailangan? Bakit ganito?’

“Pero alam mo, Tito Boy, sometimes especially nung nag-come out na ako as trans, it’s so hard waking up every day seeing that you're in this body.

"For her, ‘Tinatanggap naman kita, e. For me, you’re a man.'

“Sabi ko, ‘It's not about that. Thank you for accepting me. But the problem is me accepting me.’”

THE VOICE.

“And of course, pinakamalaking issue talaga diyan is yung boses.

“Of course, people love what they hear sa akin.

“It is a big risk. This is my bread and butter. I feed my family sa pagkanta ko, e.

It’s just that bababa siya nang kaunti and all those things.”

“I’m just happy that there's gender diversity center opened, so at least may doctors na to talk to about this.

“Maybe that’s the first step.”

BIRTH NAME.

Ani Ice, “I came out as trans around four or five years ago.

"That time, wala pang conscious decision talaga to change my name.

Kasi pag Aiza, sobrang naaalala ko naka-pigtails and everything.

“It’s just really part of really embracing my identity.”
