Ayon sa tweet ng Asia’s Songbird nitong Sabado, July 7, kahit hindi siya mahilig makialam sa mga usaping pulitika ay napilitan siyang maghayag ng saloobin tungkol dito.
Mensahe ni Regine, “Nalulungkot na talaga ako.

“Pero marami po sa amin ang naniniwala sa kanya.
"Hindi naman po namumulitika si God kaya wag na po natin sya idamay."
Panghuling mensahe ni Regine kay Pangulong Duterte, “But still I pray for you. May GOD bless you and may HE show you the right way to lead our country. In Jesus name I pray........”

ONE SUPREME GOD. Nitong July 6, Biyernes, muling nagpahayag si Pangulong Duterte tungkol sa kanyang paniniwala pagdating sa Diyos.
“By the way, I believe in one Supreme God. I never said I do not believe in God.
"I’m not a prognostic and I am not an atheist," deklara ng Pangulo sa kanyang speech sa 2018 National Science and Technology Week program na ginanap sa SMX Davao Convention Center, Davao City.
Dagdag niya, “I just happened to be a human being believing in that there universal mind somewhere, which controls the universe.
"Why is there so much agony, and pain, and injustice and all we will never know until maybe God chooses the time for us to know the answer."
May binitawan ding hamon ang national leader: “And if there is anyone of you there, the noisy ones, who would say that you have been to heaven and talked to God, just one personally, and that He exists, the God that is yours, and if it it’s true, I will step down the presidency tonight.”
Dalawang linggo na ang nakararaan, naging kontrobersyal si Pangulong Duterte dahil sa pagkuwestiyon niya sa Diyos na may kasama pang mura.
