Bea Alonzo, 31, revealed that she and Gerald Anderson, 29, are still in a relationship because they choose to stay together despite challenges they have had to face.
The two first became an item in 2010, but broke up just a few months after.
They reportedly got back together in 2016 when they filmed How To Be Yours.
Their relationship underwent another rough patch early this year, when Gerald got romantically linked with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, his leading lady for the film My Perfect You.
In May, Bea disclosed that she was “technically single.”
Then this September, photos of Gerald and Bea’s Hong Kong trip leaked online, which indicated that all is well between them.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked how she and Gerald remain together despite challenges.
The Kapamilya actress replied, “Choosing him every single day.
“At some point, it becomes a choice to keep loving somebody.
“Siguro yun, we choose to love each other.
"Siguro yun yung dahilan kung bakit andiyan kami sa isa't isa,” Bea told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other bloggers this Thursday, October 18, at the blogcon of her movie First Love, which also stars Aga Muhlach.
Bea continued that her relationship with Gerald is still a work in progress.
“Learning process pa rin sa amin every single time na we’d have a problem,” the actress explained.
“Honestly, marami akong natutunan about myself in this relationship, about him, about the things that I tolerate, about the things that I cannot tolerate.
“Yung relationship namin is a work in progress.
“Marami kaming natututunan sa isa't isa in this relationship.”
