While other politicians take private flights for convenience, vice-presidential aspirant and Camarines Sur Third District Representative Leni Robredo opts for a bus ride once in a while for practicality reasons.
In an Instagram post last night, March 23, Leni's youngest daughter Jillian shared a photo of their bus ride from Cubao, Quezon City, to their hometown in Naga City.
Jillian simply captioned it as “naga bouuuund.”
During an exclusive PEPtalk Election Watch Edition shoot last Monday, March 21, Leni said that taking bus rides to her hometown is not only more affordable but it also keeps her feet on the ground.
Leni further said that riding public transportation is something that she's used to do, and she doesn't intend to stop just because of her current position in the government.
During Christmas break last year, Leni was also spotted hailing a bus going to her hometown in Naga.
