Ikinagulat at ikinalungkot ng manonood ng Bling Empire ang balitang pumanaw si Anna Shay sa edad na 62 dahil sa stroke.
Si Anna ang half-Japanese at half-Russian cast member ng Bling Empire, ang sikat na Netflix American reality series tungkol sa marangyang pamumuhay ng mga mayayamang East at Southeast Asian Americans.
“It saddens our hearts to announce that Anna Shay, a loving mother, grandmother, charismatic star, and our brightest ray of sunshine, has passed away at the early age of 62 from a stroke.
“Anna taught us many life lessons on how not to take life too seriously and to enjoy the finer things. Her impact on our lives will be forever missed but never forgotten,” opisyal na pahayag ng naulilang pamilya ni Anna tungkol sa kanyang pagpanaw.
Isa si Anne sa may pinakamaraming tagahanga sa cast ng Bling Empire. Kahit siya ang pinakamayaman, siya ang pinakamapagkumbaba at pinakamaunawain sa mga karakter sa reality series na unang napanood sa Netflix noong January 2021.
Sina Kevin Kreider, Kane Lim, at Kim Lee ang tatlo sa mga co-star ni Anna sa Bling Empire na hindi makapaniwala sa pagpanaw niya.
Mensahe ni Kevin, “You never know when your last goodbye will be. So unexpected and wished when I saw you last for lunch I would have taken a moment to smell the roses and had one last adventure with you.”
Sabi naman ni Kane, “You had a nonchalance about you that was mesmerizing and captivated audience around the world. I was lucky to get to know the real you and not many knew about our friendship off camera.
“We had a real friendship and though the show made things or even portrayed us a little crazy at times you knew who I really was as a person and had my back in the end.
“We spent most of the pandemic together, slaying it on Rodeo dr, grocery shopping, making Japanese plum wine and doing silly things.Thank you for your company. I will always remember you for your tenacity for life and resilience and whether the camera is on or off you, you slayyyy. Continue to slay in the heavens.”
Para kay Kim, si Anna ang tunay na reyna ng Bling Empire na hinding-hindi niya makalilimutan.
“I can’t believe I’m writing this right now. Anna, we’re going to miss you. I’m glad we got to cross paths. I cried and laughed with you and shared so much memories with you on screen.
“I loved your realness and humor and one thing u taught all of us is not to take life too serious. Anna Shay we love you Queen!! You will forever be missed.”
Hindi kasali ang Comedy Queen na si Ai-Ai delas Alas sa Bling Empire pero si Anna ang pinakapaborito niya kaya apektadong-apektado siya sa pagkamatay ng Asian-American socialite na kanyang iniidolo.
Sinubaybayan ni Ai-Ai ang Bling Empire nang dahil kay Anna. Tuwang-tuwa siya nang sumagot ang reality star sa kanyang ipinadalang direct message sa Instagram noong January 24, 2021.
“Hi, I don’t know if you will answer this but I enjoyed your show. I am an actress in the Philippines. I like you [r] cool style. Congratulations on your show…bravo for you and I don’t like Andrew by the way..Keep safe,” mensahe noon ni Ai-Ai para kay Anna.
Sagot sa kanya ng reality star, “Thank you so much for your kind words!”
