Lisa from the popular K-pop girl group Blackpink is nowhere to be found on China's social-media platform Weibo, where she has eight million followers.
Her sudden removal from the app led to speculations that her burlesque performances in Paris last September was the reason behind the ban.

Lisa graced the iconic stage of Crazy Horse Paris, a world-famous Parisian cabaret, for five special shows from September 28 to 30.
Ticket prices range from €115 (PHP6,911.48) to €360 (PHP21,635.93).
Here's a photo of her in a cabaret attire.
Her Instagram caption read, "Such an amazing experience at (Crazy Horse)... Call me whenever you need someone to fill a spot."

While no official statement was issued by Weibo, observers felt that Lisa's performance didn't sit well with Chinese authorities and the country's conservative outlook.
Hong Kong actress Angelbaby, who reportedly attended Lisa's burlesque show, was also banned from the platform, according to reports.

It's common for celebrities to make guest appearances, and some of the those who had previously performed were Carmen Electra, Kelly Brook, and Pamela Anderson, to name a few.
Beyonce had the chance to watch a performance, and made the "ultimate sexy show" her peg for the music video of her 2013 song "Partition."
In one of her online documentary series Self-Titled, she recounted, "The day I got engaged was my husband’s birthday and I took him to Crazy Horse and I remember thinking, 'Damn, these girls are fly.'
"And I just thought it was the ultimate sexy show: 'I wish I was up there, I wish I could perform that for my man…' so that’s what I did for my video."
