Siya ay 42.
Si Adan ay singer mula sa Mexico na pinalad na magkaroon ng career sa Hollywood nang subukan niya ang kanyang kapalaran sa Amerika.
Ang political thriller-drama series na Designated Survivor (2016-2019) ang pinakamalaking break sa acting career ni Adan. Nakilala nang husto si Adan dahil sa karakter niya ritong si Vice-President Aaron Shore.
Naulila ni Adan ang kanyang asawa na si Stephanie Ann at ang kanilang dalawang anak na sina Roman Alder, 3, at Eve Josephine, 1.

Ang lead actor ng Designated Survivor na si Kiefer Sutherland ang isa sa mga unang nagpahayag ng pakikiramay sa pagpanaw ng kanyang co-star.
Mensahe ni Kiefer: “It seems lately I have had to make too many posts like this one, but I am heartbroken by the loss of Adan Canto. He was such a wonderful spirit.
“As an actor his desire to do well, to be great, and then do better, was truly impressive and he will be greatly missed.
"I am also heartbroken for his wife, Steph and his two young children. Adan, may you rest in peace."

Ang American crime drama series na Cleaning Lady ng Fox Entertainment at Warner Bros. Television ang huling proyekto ni Adan na nakamatayan nito.
Sa opisyal na pahayag ng Fox at Warner Bros. Television management tungkol sa kanyang pagkawala, sinabi nilang malaking karangalang naging bahagi si Adan ng cast ng The Cleaning Lady.
“We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Adan Canto. A wonderful actor and dear friend, we were honored to have him as part of the Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment families since his U.S. debut in The Following more than a decade ago.
