Thai company offers paid date leave for employees

Its goal: to boost the employees' well-being.

A Thai company is offering its employees paid 'date leave' as a benefit, along with premium subscriptions to Tinder dating app.

May kakaibang benefit na ino-offer ang isang Thai company sa ilan daang empleyado nito: ang “paid date leave.”

Specifically, tinawag na “paid Tinder leave” ang unique benefit na ino-offer sa mga employees ng Whiteline Group, isang marketing agency sa Thailand, ulat ng website na 9news.com.au.

Para rin itong sick leave o vacation leave, pero kelangang magbigay ng one-week advance notice ang empleyadong nais gamitin ito.

Hindi binanggit sa report kung ilang araw ang puwedeng gamitin, pero limited offer lamang ito—mula July 2024 hanggang December 2024.

Ang objective ng company ay para i-boost ang well-being ng 200 employees nito.

Ang announcement ay inilabas ng Whiteline sa LinkedIn nito lamang August 2024: "Our employees can use Tinder leave for dating with someone."

Bukod sa paid date leave, may paid Tinder Platinum at Tinder Gold subscriptions for six months para sa mga gustong mag-avail.

Ang Tinder ay kilalang international dating app.

Iniulat naman ng The Straits Times na may kaparehong benefit ang influencer marketing agency na Gushcloud International.

May one-day Tinder leave ito para sa 300 employees sa mga offices nito sa Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand.
