“When I found out there was no age limit for the Miss Universe competition, I decided to enter,” paliwanag ni Choi sa interview ng Euronews.

Pagbabahagi ni Choi, “My son asked, ‘Mom, are you really going to do this?’ and then said, ‘If it’s what you want, go for it!’”

Sabi ni Choi, “I sent in my photos, and my family responded with, ‘Our mom is amazing,’ and ‘Our grandmother is incredible!’

“So that made me feel very happy.”

HOW SHE BECAME A MODEL

“One of the patients looked at me and said, ‘You would make a great senior model.’”

Pagpapatuloy ni Choi, “But she said it’s not too late and that I should find out more about it.”

“By then, I was 76 years old. I went to the catwalk wearing a jacket that young people wear. After that, I got a lot of offers," lahad ni Choi.

Sabi niya, “And now I’m so happy as I take on the new challenges. I’ve found my new life. I’m very proud when I walk on the runway.”

Aniya: “Use your talent to find a place where you feel confident.

“Step outside your home, go wherever you like, and get involved in social activities.

“This will help seniors lead more active and fulfilling lives.”
