Ayon naman sa isang malapit na kaibigan ni Park Jia, “[Park Jia] recently collapsed due to a cerebral infarction and was battling it in the hospital, but unfortunately, she did not recover and passed away.”

THE GLORY ACTRESS
Si Park Jia ay tumatak nang husto sa mga manonood dahil sa kanyang pagganap bilang alcoholic at abusive mother ng bidang si Song Hye Kyo sa Netflix series na The Glory noong 2022.
Sa isang talk show noong May 2023, sinabi ni Park Jia na bilang paghahanda sa kanyang complex character sa The Glory ay bumili siya ng 30 bote ng soju, ang pinakakilalang inumin sa South Korea.
