Ang panghihiya na ginawa ni Nawat Itsaragrisil kay Miss Universe Mexico Fatima Bosch ang dahilan kaya nilimitahan at baka tuluyan siyang tanggalan ng kapangyarihan ni Miss Universe Organization (MUO) President Raul Rocha para magkaroon ng partisipasyon sa lahat ng mga pagtitipon ng Miss Universe 2025.
Si Nawat ang executive director ng Miss Universe Thailand Organization at siya ang may hawak ng franchise ng Miss Universe Thailand (MUT).
Ipinahiya ni Nawat si Fatima sa Sashing Ceremony ng 74th Miss Universe noong Martes, Nobyembre 4, 2025.
Ito ang dahilan kaya nag-walkout ang ilan sa mga kandidata, kabilang ang reigning Miss Universe na si Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, dahil hindi nila matanggap ang magaspang na ugali na ipinakita ni Nawat.

MUO PRESIDENT ISSUES STATEMENT AGAINST NAWAT ITSARAGRISIL
Ilang oras matapos ang insidente, naglabas ng opisyal na pahayag si Rocha at kinastigo niya si Nawat.
Sa kanyang live video broadcast, ipinarating ni Rocha kay Nawat ang mensahe niya.
Pagkastigo ni Rocha kay Nawat: “I would like to make it clear my great indignation toward Nawat for the public aggression he committed against Fatima Bosch, Miss Universe Mexico, whom he humiliated, insulted, and he showed a lack of respect, in addition to the serious abuse of having called security to intimidate a defenseless woman, trying to silence and seclude her.
“NAWAT, YOU NEED TO STOP. Every woman in the world should be respected.”
Si Nawat ang founder at president ng Miss Grand International Organization (MGI), pero nilinaw ni Rocha na iba ang Miss Universe sa Miss Grand International.
Ipinag-utos ni Rocha na ipahinto ang Sashing Ceremony para hindi na makasalamuha ni Nawat ang mga kandidata ng Miss Universe 2025.
Pahayag niya: “I want to make it clear that I gave the instruction to postpone the Sashing Ceremony and where this unfortunate incident took place, precisely to avoid any interaction with Nawat who, in his constant desire to be the center of attention, caused this incident.”

Ito ang isinalin sa Ingles na bahagi ng pahayag ni Rocha tungkol sa pang-aabuso umano ni Nawat sa kapangyarihan na kinokondena niya:
“I want to express my solidarity and support to all delegates representing the 122 countries at the Miss Universe Competition in which Thailand is our host country.
“I will not allow the values of respect and dignity toward women to be violated.
“Unfortunately, Nawat has forgotten the true meaning of what it means to be a genuine host.
“It means to demonstrate to all delegates of all countries that he as a host has the obligation to serve them and to ensure they have unique life experience filled with kindness and courtesy so that they may enjoy and take from Thailand the best memories of their lives in an atmosphere of healthy and friendly competition.
“Without further ado, I would like to make it clear my great indignation toward Nawat for the public aggression he committed against Fatima Bosch, Miss Universe Mexico whom he humiliated, insulted, and he showed a lack of respect, in addition to the serious abuse of having called security to intimidate a defenseless woman, trying to silence and seclude her.
“NAWAT, YOU NEED TO STOP. Every woman in the world should be respected.
"And Fatima, who in addition to being a voice of her own represents her country as well just like the 122 delegates who are currently in Thailand and also seeking to make a dream come true, to be heard, and many of them are precisely struggling to after having gone through episodes such as today’s.
“This, against not only one person but of all these women present there. I will not allow any of them to be attacked and humiliated as many of them has managed to reach this platform of visibility and voice precisely while trying to overcome situations like these.
“I want to make it clear that I gave the instruction to postpone the Sashing Ceremony and where this unfortunate incident took place, precisely to avoid any interaction with Nawat who, in his constant desire to be the center of attention, caused this incident.
“And I want to make it clear once again that the ONLY ones who should shine are our Miss Universe delegates who represent each of their countries with dignity.
“For the above reasons, I have restricted Nawat’s participation in the events that are part of the 74th Miss Universe Competition, limiting it as much sa possible or eliminating it entirely.
“I have instructed our CEO Mario Bucaro, on behalf of the Miss Universe Organization, to detail all the corporate and legal actions we will undertake as a result of the malicious acts committed by Nawat.
“We will not allow that not a single person to cause harm and to thwart the dreams of so many women who traveled from all over the world to be there.
“I have also instructed a delegation of executives of the Miss Universe Organization and diplomatic experts, within which is found Mr. Mario Bucaro and Ronald Day, to travel immediately to Thailand and take control of this concentration and the event itself that we had, unfortunately, trusted MGI and that trust has failed under the unfortunate leadership of Nawat.
“I want to emphasize that we have more than 100 national directors around the world and many of them already in Thailand always ready to join in support to this great organization that is Miss Universe.
“That the delegates from all countries have my full and absolute support and fundamentally, none of you should ever allow incidents like these to happen to you in life, no matter who they came from because no one is more than the other.
“We are all the same with different abilities and qualities, but that does not make them superior to anyone else and no one can get over others.
“And we must always defend this principle in Miss Universe, the values of respect and dignity of women are neither negotiable and we differ strongly from MGI.
“I wish to reiterate that Miss Universe is an empowerment platform for women so that their voices can be heard in the world and let this be the banner and to go hand in hand with the flag they represent each and everyone of our delegates.
“Always feel proud and walk with your head held high. By standing up for your ideals and life goals and let no one stop you.”
